Brothers Osborne Gets The Chance To Headline
The Grammy-nominated act features lead singer/guitarist T.J. Osborne and his brother John, who plays lead guitar and contributes backing vocals.
Brothers Osborne, which hails from Deale, Md., released its debut album, Pawn Shop, in January via EMI Nashville. Singles include “Let’s Go There,” “Rum” and “Stay A Little Longer,” which was nominated for a Grammy for best country duo/group performance.
“Brothers Osborne have always had a bit of an edgier sound, but for their forthcoming full-length Pawn Shop they’ve gotten a push in the rock direction from Jay Joyce, a producer with a rock resume who first got into country with Eric Church’s genre-stretching records,” Village Voice declared in a feature posted in December.
Along with Lambert, Brothers Osborne has also supported Eric Church, Little Big Town and Darius Rucker.
The siblings will get the chance to have their name at the top of the ticket when “The Dirty Rich Tour” launches Sept. 22 in Rosemont, Ill.
“‘Dirt Rich’ is a song on the record that makes a statement about who we are and where we come from,” John Osborne says. “We felt it was an appropriate title for the tour because it really defines who we are.”
T.J. adds, “We have been fortunate to be part of some really great tours but this one is especially exciting because we’ve been building toward this for a while. We can’t wait to perform more of our material in an intimate setting with the fans out there. It’s going to be blast.”
