Afropunk Drops Headliner M.I.A.

UK-based hip-hop artist M.I.A. will not headline the Afropunk festival after criticizing the Black Lives Matter movement.  

“After discussing the situation with the artist and the community, a decision was agreed upon by all involved that M.I.A will no longer headline Afropunk London,” an official statement reads.

M.I.A was faced with an enormous backlash, mainly on social media, afte in London.
