Judy Collins Crosses ‘Silver Blue Skies’
Collins began her musical journey at age 13 as a piano prodigy conquering Mozart’s “Concerto for Two Pianos.” Later she picked up the guitar and followed her instincts into the world of folk music. Her debut album, A Maid Of Constant Sorrow, was released in 1961. Six years later, Wildflowers was dropped with a cover of Joni Mitchell’s “Both Sides Now,” and the LP has landed in the Grammy Hall of Fame.
Her latest album, Silver Blue Skies, is out now via Wildflower/Cleopatra Records. Collins collaborated with singer/songwriter Ari Hest for the project, which features songs the duo wrote together.
