Country artist Morgan Wallen takes the top ranking on Pollstar’s LIVE75 chart based on a ticket average of 19,964 from three sold-out concerts in two venues. The first was an outdoor event on Nov. 12 on the grounds of the Greater Gulf State Fair in Mobile, Ala., with a crowd of 30,664 and a gross nearing the $2 million mark. Genesis hits at No. 8, scoring the HOT SHOT debut based on an average-ticket count of 12,564, the highest among new chart entries. The English rock band is also the HEAVY HITTER with a $2.79 million gross average from two performances at Chicago’s United Center on Nov. 15-16. The two concerts kicked off the North American leg of the group’s “The Last Domino?” tour, currently booked in the U.S. and Canada through mid-December. The tour will then head to Europe for a final run early in 2022.
Eight shows reported for Jo Koy land the comedian at No. 28 – a leap of 20 positions which earns him the NOISE MAKER status for the week. His ticket average of 4,823 comes from both arena and theater performances with the top attendance logged at 13,041 from a single show at SAP Center in San Jose, Calif. on Nov. 12.
The chart’s BREAKTHROUGH artist is bluegrass star Billy Strings at No. 35 based on 14 sellouts including a three-show date in Asheville, N.C., with 17,867 sold seats.
