Laura Haber has announced the launch of little lion management, which sees the veteran artist manager continuing to work with longtime clients First Aid Kit, Tove Lo, and Yeah Yeah Yeahs.
The announcement says little lion is focused on a holistic, bespoke, and personally supportive approach to each client’s individual career and personal goals.
“It has been a professional and personal honor to have guided the careers that I have for the last 15 years,” Haber says in the announcement. “I look forward to building on that legacy with little lion and continuing to work tirelessly to support my clients and help them to continue to achieve their greatest potential. That’s what I’ve always done, and that’s what I will continue to do.”
Haber says the name was initially inspired from her lifetime love of her pet Shih Tzus, “little lion” in Mandarin, but that it also perfectly encapsulates the small and mighty design and ethos of the company.
“We’re not looking to be the biggest management company out there, rather simply the best for our clients and our team.”
little lion will be adding more artists and managers “in time” and that any additions will be guided by the values of equality and inclusiveness in which the company is founded. As a female executive with a strong focus on female fronted projects, Haber says, “I am excited to be creating a space to develop new talent on both the artist and business side.”
Prior to founding little lion management, Haber was a manager at Ciulla Management. She worked at CAA in the music department in Los Angeles before starting her career in management.
