Nashville Newcomer Brittney Spencer Announces First Headline Tour

Nashville newcomer Brittney Spencer will take advantage of breaks opening for Jason Isbell + The 400 Unit and Reba McEntire to pencil in her own first headlining “In A Perfect World Tour,” which kicks off Dec. 2  at Rockwood Music Hall in New York.

The 16-date tour will caravan along the East Coast includes shows in Washington, D.C,; Nashville and her hometown of Baltimore.

Opening on select shows are Sam Williams, Abbey Cone and Camille Parker. Tickets for Spencer’s ‘In a Perfect World Tour’ will go on sale Friday (10.22) at 10 a.m. EDT. 

Spencer, represented by United Talent Agency, has become a high-profile emerging country artist in the last year, despite the COVID pandemic, with her latest single, “Sober & Skinny” garnering much critical appraise. 

“I couldn’t be more excited to headline my first tour,” Spencer says in a statement. “We’ll not only be showcasing songs that I’ve released over the last year, but we’re also planning to debut a lot of new material as well. I truly hope everyone enjoys what we’ve got cooking up — from those who have been on this journey with me since the very beginning, when I was just posting cover songs online, to the newer fans who have seen me on tour with some of my absolute heroes. And to top it off, I’m so thrilled to have Sam Williams, Abbey Cone and Camille Parker supporting on this tour as well! See ya’ll on the road!”

Recently named among 12 of Hollywood’s elite newcomers in PEOPLE’s “Ones to Watch 2021” list, Spencer’s latest single, “Sober & Skinny” has been praised by The New York Times, Rolling Stone, American Songwriter and more, and she was recently coined “Nashville’s new star” by CBS Mornings’ Anthony Mason. A 2021 Spotify Hot Country Artist to Watch, Pandora 2021 Artist to Watch and CMT Next Women of Country, Spencer is currently opening for Jason Isbell & The 400 Unit this Fall. The two recently shared the stage to perform The Stones’ classic, “Gimme Shelter,” along with a powerhouse rendition of “It’s a Man’s, Man’s, Man’s World” to close the show. Additionally, the Baltimore native is opening for Brett Eldredge’s “Good Day Tour” through mid-November, and she’ll also open a run of shows for Reba McEntire in 2022.
