Artist Group International has announced the signing of Grammy-nominated rap-metal group Limp Bizkit for North American representation, fresh off the band’s high-profile Lollapalooza Chicago gig.

AGI’s Dennis Arfa, Mike Arfin, and Nick Storch will be the responsible agents along with their team of agents, with the band planning to tour in summer of 2022.
“We are honored to welcome Limp Bizkit to AGI,” Arfa said in the announcement. “They are one of music’s most energetic headliners and we can’t wait to bring the guys back to audiences around the country next summer.”
Fred Durst, lead vocalist and band manager, commented, “I’m very excited to be teaming up with AGI for this next exciting chapter in Limp Bizkit’s journey. It’s been a long time since I’ve felt this confident about our team on the field.”
The band, known for a string of inescapable ’90s hits including “Nookie,” “Break Stuff,” “My Way Or The Highway” and a cover of George Michael’s “Faith,” has remained active in recent years with major festival appearances and even a 2015 20-date tour of Russia titled “Money Sucks.”
Most recently, however, Limp Bizkit made headlines in the music press with its daytime Lollapalooza gig, debuting a new track called “Dad Vibes” and with Durst sporting bright red aviator glasses and a more mature fashion style — along with a tight, energetic hour-long performance that was streamed to millions.
AGI’s Nick Storch, known for representing dozens of acclaimed metal bands, tells Pollstar the signing “is an incredible opportunity to take what the band has done with Lollapalooza. No one could have predicted what they did. They created a really special moment for themselves and now get to add another chapter to their story. We couldn’t be more excited about this opportunity to work with them and help them take this to the next level and build off of what they just did. Everyone’s eyes are back on this band.”
The Lollapalooza gig was to be followed up with a run of August headline dates put together before signing with AGI, but the tour was canceled days before kicking off, “out of an abundance of caution and concern for the safety of the band, crew and most of all the fans.” Durst spoke with the music press about the cancellation, saying that despite efforts to keep artists, crews and staff safe, not enough was being done to protect fans at mass gatherings as the pandemic continues.

Storch says he can’t share much about upcoming plans, but “honestly, this band has put themselves in a very unique space to be bigger than ever. We’re incredibly excited to jump into this with them.”
Limp Bizkit is distributing a new album with Suretone Records and ADA later this year.
