German Concert Agency Goodlive Artists Launches Austrian Office
Alex Lang – The heads of Goodlive Artists’ new office in Austria:
Silvio Huber (l) and Philipp Maly.
Berlin-based concert and tour promoter Goodlive Artists announced the launch of Goodlive Artists Austria in Vienna, and appointed Philipp Maly and Silvio Huber to key roles.
Both men come with many years of experience in the conception and implementation of a wide variety of events
Silvio Huber previously worked as head of booking at the German-Austrian promoter powerhouse Arcadia Live. He will bring along his own roster of artists and bands. Among others, Huber has already organised concerts of AnnenMayKantereit, George Ezra, Conan Gray, Tame Impala and more.
Philipp Maly, who has been co-owner of the Czech promoter agency Selection since 2015 and was part of the management team at the Colours of Ostrava Festival, 2014-2020, will work together with Huber “on the development and implementation of new concepts and visions in the Austrian market,” according to the announcement.
Huber and Male released a joint statement, “Above all, we would like to thank Goodlive Artists for the trust they have placed in us in such turbulent and unusual times, and so we are looking forward to a positive industry re-launch in a strengthened, motivated and hopeful manner.
“Although we have only had a few and limited opportunities to get to know our new colleagues, we feel more than welcome and part of the family after only a short time.”
Goodlive Artists MD Justus Mang commented: “Philipp and Silvio fit perfectly into our team, both personally and professionally. With this step, we will be able to expand our touring services for our artists and act more strategically.
“In our talks beforehand, we all quickly realised that we share the same views on many things, that our visions are similar and that we could draw great motivation from this exchange. I’m incredibly excited about this collaboration and more Wiener Melange in my life.”
