Eric Church To ‘Gather Again’ In The Round For Full U.S. Tour Kicking Off Sept. 17

He told everyone he was going to play this year, and he has delivered. Reigning CMA Entertainer of the Year Eric Church has announced a full U.S. arena tour kicking off in September and running into May 2022, with an in-the-round configuration assuring as many fans as possible can gather again for large-scale live music.

The announcement says it’s the first time in Church’s career that he will adopt an in-the-round setup, with the stage at the center of each arena floor. Tickets to all U.S. dates go on sale to the general public Friday, May 7 at 10 a.m. local time at www.EricChurch.com. 
Notable dates include opening night in Lexington, Ky.’s Rupp Arena Sept 17, a slate of Canadian dates in markets including Saskatoon, Winnipeg and Ottawa, the new UBS Arena in Belmont Park, N.Y., Staples Center, two nights at The Anthem in D.C., and, another sign of things hopefully getting back to some normality for live music, the finale at Madison Square Garden May 20, 2022.  
The “Gather Again Tour” is produced by Messina Touring Group, as confirmed by Pollstar.
Church, knowing for his high-energy,  Springsteen-esque marathon performances, has made recent high-profile media appearances promoting vaccine adoption and urging fans to do what it takes to get back out to live music.   
He will appear in an upcoming PSA promoting vaccine education, produced by ACM Lifting Lives, The Ad Council and COVID Collaborative and set to premiere during the ACM Awards broadcast on Sunday, April 18, where Church will also perform a song off his forthcoming Heart & Soul triple album project that is set for release in the coming weeks. 
Church went into 2020 with tons of touring momentum, having already long established himself as one of the most successful touring country artists. His 2019 included the “Double Down” tour taking in two arenas per night, and he even mixed in his first stadium headlining appearance  at Nissan Stadium in Nashville May 25.  That show moved 56,521 tickets, as reported to Pollstar, and was notable not only as Church’s first stadium headliner, but as the first to play the massive NFL stadium with no co-headliner or supporting act. 
Earlier this year he publicly said he would be performing in 2021, but it was not clear if he meant a full-scale tour.  So far the only notable new, large-scale arena tour announced for 2021 is Maluma’s Papi Juancho tour, also set to kick off in September, produced by Cardenas Marketing Network.
