Paleo Goes For The Dozen
Having sold out in advance for the last 11 years, Paleo-Nyon Festival in Switzerland announced the lineup it hopes will make it a dozen at a special press conference April 5.
Talent buyer Dany Hassenstein told Pollstar that the feedback he’s had from journalists in the few hours since the bill was made public has left him confident that the 35,000-capacity event will sell out all six days in a matter of a few hours.
“Our lineup is more than ever pop and rock oriented with a few Swiss exclusivities, such as The Strokes, Portishead and Robert Plant & The Band of Joy,” he said. “We will announce another main act early next week and with all this, pre-sales should go very well.”
The other acts on the July 19-24 bill include Jack Johnson, The Chemical Brothers, James Blunt, Eddy Mitchell, PJ Harvey, The National, Patrice, and Pulled Apart By Horses.
Tickets go on sale April 13.
