LETSGETFR.EE Carnaval Announces Partnership With Dice And Inaugural Lineup With Missy Elliott, Anderson .Paak & Free The Nationals, And More

The inaugural edition of LETSGETFR.EE Carnaval will see Missy Elliott, Wizkid, Anderson .Paak & The Free Nationals, Ozuna, El Alfa, Kali Uchis, Jhené Aiko and more taking the stage.
Along with announcing the Carnaval’s lineup, LETSGETFR.EE has revealed its exclusive partnership with the digital ticketing platform, DICE. The festival is set to take place on Aug. 20 and 21 at the Flushing Meadows Corona Park in Queens, N.Y. Residents of Queens will be able to have access to exclusive pre-sale tickets via the partnership with DICE.
“When we first heard to plans for LETSGETFR.EE we had to have a moment – the mission and ambition is aligned perfectly with DICE’s values and we’re excited to be named the exclusive ticketing partner,” DICE President, Russ Tannen, said in a statement. “We’ve been longtime fans of founder Matthew Morgan and Jocelyn Cooper, and the important work they do to amplify diverse voices within music, art, food and entertainment.”
LETSGETFR.EE will also feature performances from Major Lazer Sound System, Jai Wolf, Goldlink, Lous and the Yakuza, and more. Matthew Morgan, founder of the AFROPUNK festivals, is the man behind the event alongside Jocelyn Cooper nad global creative agency, Anomoly. With LETSGETFR.EE, they hope to bridge the equity gap in entertainment for underrepresented voices across every level of the music industry.
The event is set to include a variety of immersive experiences, including masterclass educational initiatives, three stages, a marketplace Bazaar, and now. The event is also a movement designed for Black, Brown and Asian fans and members of the industry, with the Carnaval itself pulling from Carribean sound systems and culture.
Residents of Queens, N.Y., can begin joining the presale registration window starting on Mar. 1 at 10 a. m. ET and lasting through Mar. 6 at 10 p.m. ET. The presale for Queens residents begins on Mar. 8 at 10 a.m. ET, with tickets going on sale to the general public starting on Mar. 9 at 10 a.m. ET.
