The Judds Announce ‘The Final Tour’ With Special Guest Martina McBride
Mother-daughter country duo, The Judds, have announced their first tour in more than a decade, “The Final Tour.”
Set to begin on Sept. 30 at the Van Andel Arena in Grand Rapids, Mich., the tour will see Wynonna and Naomi Judd accompanied by Martina McBride as a special guest. “The Final Tour” will stop in Sioux Falls, S.D., Green Bay, Wisc., Biloxi, Miss., and more before wrapping up on Oct. 28 at Nashville’s Bridgestone Arena.
“The fans have always been my family of choice,” Naomi Judd said in a statement. “I love them dearly, so I’m chompin’ at the bit to belt out our hits and reconnect with them once again. The cherry on top is singing with my beloved, wild and extremely talented daughter… the best singer of any genre, Wynonna! She asked me if I was still going to twist, twirl and crack jokes. I answered, ‘Heck yeah! I’m too old to grow up now!'”
The Judds are due to be inducted into the Country Music Hall of Fame in May and made their first appearance in five years at the 2022 CMT Music Awards. Over the course of their career, the duo has seen 14 No. 1 hits with the mother-daughter duo dominating country music in the 1980s.
“What I’m looking forward to most is celebrating Judd music with the fans,” Wynonna Judd said in a statement. “Mom and I have had quite the journey over the last 38 years, and the fans have been with us through it all. This tour is a celebration for them!”
“The Final Tour” will be produced by Live Nation and Sandbox Live. Tickets are due to go onsale staring April 15 via The Judds’ official website.
“The Judds were my very first concert and this is a full circle moment for us,” Jason Owen, President and CEO of Sandbox, said in a statement. “Launching Sandbox Live with The Judds ‘The Final Tour’ makes perfect sense. We are so proud to produce their epic return to live concerts with our partners at Live Nation and Leslie Cohea and the incredible team at Sandbox.”
