Venue Coalition Promotes Julia James To Director Of Booking
Entertainment consulting company Venue Coalition has promoted Julia James to director of booking, where she will focus on national booking and business development for new and existing Venue Coalition clients.
James started her career with Venue Coalition in 2019 after graduating from Missouri State University’s Entertainment Management program. She’s quickly advanced within the company, which represents more than 100 venues in North America, having initially held the role of booking assistant, before becoming booking coordinator, booking manager and now director of booking.
“Julia has done an outstanding job of servicing our venue members and confirming events,” Venue Coalition President Andrew Prince said in the announcement. “She has grown tremendously over the past three years with Venue Coalition, and we are thrilled to see her continue to grow and excel in this new position.”
Venues in the Venue Coalition portfolio include arenas such as Moda Center in Portland, SAP Center in San Jose, Tacoma Dome in Washington, KeyBank Center in Buffalo, and theaters including Microsoft Theater in Los Angeles, Ovens Auditorium in Charlotte and many others. The company connects venues with decision makers on the talent and touring side, helping to influence routing decisions and increase event dates for its member venues.
James adds, “I am excited to continue building new relationships in the industry while booking a wide variety of events on a national level. I’m proud of how much our company has grown over the past few years and am extremely grateful for this opportunity to take on a larger role in providing top-tier service to each of our venues.”
