Jolene Herz has been promoted to the role of Vice President of Booking at the Kia Forum in Inglewood, Calif., the venue announced May 17.

“I’m honored to be recognized by my colleagues at the Kia Forum and couldn’t ask for a better team to work with,” Herz said in a statement. “I look forward to continuing to expand the impressive list of artists and events we’ve brought to the venue and build upon the strong community we’ve created thus far.”

Herz has been with the venue for a number of years, most recently having been promoted to Booking Director in 2018 after serving as Booking Manager since 2016. She had previously worked at Kia Forum, then known simply as The Forum, during a three-year stint from 2007-2010.

Herz got her start in the music business as a booking assistant in Live Nation’s Los Angeles office in 2000. Her resume also includes time working at Nederlander Concerts and a return to Live Nation after 2010.

Tuesday’s announcement notes that Herz’s new role as VP of Booking is effective immediately, “overseeing all live events at the venue.” She will continue reporting to Geni Lincoln, the venue’s GM and SVP/Live Events.

“We are thrilled to announce this well-deserved promotion for Jolene as Vice President of Booking for the Kia Forum,” Lincoln said in a statement. “We are grateful for her many years of hard work and dedication to this iconic venue and are confident that she will bring her continued enthusiasm and diligence to the new role.”

Upcoming performances at the Kia Forum include Roberto Carlos May 21, Tears For Fears June 4, Chicago with Brian Wilson June 9 and Chris Stapleton June 10.

Box office reports submitted to Pollstar for the Kia Forum include an April 29 show from Maxwell that sold 9,639 tickets and grossed more than $1.1 million.
