blink-182 Reunites For First World Tour With Tom DeLonge In Nearly 10 Years

blink-182’s Mark Hoppus and Travis Barker have reunited with guitarist Tom DeLonge and are ready to get back on stage, with today’s tour announcement marking the trio’s first trek together in nearly 10 years.

The band will steadily be touring for an entire year, starting on March 11 in Tijuana, Mexico with stops in major cities such as Buenos Aires, Mexico City, Chicago, New York City, Boston, Los Angeles, Seattle, Houston, Glasgow, Dublin, Stockholm, Madrid, Paris, London, Sydney and more before wrapping on Feb. 26, 2024 in Christchurch, New Zealand. The trek will see the band taking the stage in arenas across the globe, as well as numerous festival appearances including Lollapalooza Brazil, Argentina, and Chile.

The Latin America run takes place from March 11 to April 2, with North America kicking off May 4 and running until July 16. From there, the band will take the stage at Glasgow’s OVO Hydro to kick off their European dates on Sept. 2, with dates booked through Oct. 15 in Manchester, England. blink-182 will return to the U.S. for an appearance at When We Were Young Festival on Oct. 21, then head to Australia and New Zealand from Feb. 9-26.

Wallows will support blink-182 in Latin America, with Turnstile in North America, The Story So Far in Europe and Rise Against in Australia and New Zealand.

The band went on hiatus in 2005 and then reunited in 2009 at the Grammy Awards, followed by a North America tour in 2009 and a run of European dates in 2010. After DeLonge departed the band in 2015, Hoppus and Barker continued touring with Alkaline Trio vocalist/guitarist Matt Skiba taking over for DeLonge. Highlights from the band’s 2019 North American tour include a Sept. 20 show at Brooklyn, New York’s Barclays Center that sold 14,231 ticket and grossed $855,645, and an Aug. 8 stop at the Forum in Inglewood, California that sold 12,540 tickets and grossed $747,606, according to box office reports submitted to Pollstar.

Along with announcing the new reunion tour, blink-182 broke the news that the trio will release its first single in 10 years, “Edging,” on Oct. 14.

Tickets for the tour go on sale Oct. 17 at 10 a.m. local time.
