Madonna Doubles Down On ‘The Celebration Tour’
When Madonna announced “The Celebration Tour” last month, her first arena shows in seven years, the initial itinerary included 36 stops across the U.S., UK and Europe. That number has been doubled due to overwhelming demand.
According to the tour’s promoter Live Nation, “The Celebration Tour” has “sold-out 36 shows and counting across Toronto, Chicago, New York, Los Angeles, London, Paris and more, with over 600,000 tickets sold.”
Therefore, another 36 dates have been added, including five nights at The O2 London, where Madonna was originally scheduled to perform on Oct. 14 only. Instead, she’ll now be extending her first London visit on “The Celebration Tour” to Oct. 18, playing a total of four shows, which are all sold out, and then return Dec. 5-6 for another two nights at The O2.

The sold out shows also include four nights at Madison Square Garden in New York, NY, Aug. 23-27, three sold out nights at Crypto.com Arena in Los Angeles, CA, and two sold out nights at San Francisco’s Chase Center.
In Europe, the sell out shows include two nights at Palau Sant Jordi in Barcelona, Spain, Nov. 1-2, three sold out concerts at Accor Arena Paris, France, Nov. 12-19, and two sold out performances at Mediolanum Forum in Milan, Italy, Nov. 23-25.
All “The Celebration Tour” dates can be found below. It kicks off Saturday, July 15, at Rogers Arena in Vancouver, BC with stops in Phoenix, Seattle, Denver, and more before making its way to Europe where Madonna will perform in 11 cities throughout the fall, including Antwerp, Copenhagen, Paris and Stockholm, among others.
Once the Euro leg wraps with the newly added O2 concerts in December, “The Celebration Tour” will return to North America for additional and newly confirmed dates, two of which are in January 2024.
Madonna did a run of multi-night theater plays in 2019 and 2020. Her last submissions to Pollstar’s Boxoffice were eight nights at the Grand Rex in Paris, France, Feb. 22–March 8, 2020, which grossed more than $5.1 million on 20,919 total tickets, an average of $246 per ticket.
Her last dates in the U.S. were six shows at the Jackie Gleason Theater at the Fillmore in Miami Beach in December 2019, grossing more than $3.7 million on 13,339 tickets, for an average price of $279.
Madonna’s last arena stop was the conclusion of an Asian and Australian leg in 2016 with two dates at Sydney’s Qudos Arena March 19-20, 2016, grossing $6.05 million on 26,370 tickets for a $229 average. Her last play at a U.S. arena was January 23 and 24, 2016, at what is now Miami-Dade Arena, grossing $2.55 million on 26,468 tickets, a $96 average.
