UTA Opens New London Office With Gala Event
United Talent Agency marked the opening of its new London office with a gala event June 15, with execs on hand including CEO Jeremy Zimmer; partners and co-heads of worldwide music Samantha Kirby-Yoh and David Zedeck; and co-head of UTA Sports, UTA board member and CEO of Klutch Sports Group Rich Paul, among others.
Neil Warnock MBE and Obi Asika will continue to lead the London office, which was established when UTA acquired The Agency Group in 2015. It has since expanded with the acquisition of London-based Echo Location Talent Agency in 2021.
The 28,000-square-foot space will house UTA’s UK music department and other division and is near Cunard House, the home of talent and literary agency Curtis Brown Group, which became part of UTA last year, according to IQ Magazine.
“London is one of the world’s great cultural and commercial centres, and this expansion reflects UTA’s growing investment in bringing UK and European clients more opportunities to make an impact around the world,” Zimmer, CEO and co-founder of UTA, said in a statement. “We’re excited to move into our new London home, creating a vibrant hub for our expanding team and range of capabilities across entertainment, sports and business.”
