Kehlani Joins Wasserman Music For Worldwide Representation
Grammy Award-nominated singer Kehlani has signed to Wasserman Music for worldwide representation.
Kehlani recently wrapped her world tour supporting her album, Blue Water Road. Highlights from the trek include a sold-out hometown show in Oakland, California, at the Fox Theater (which is in the same building as Kehlani’s former high school, the Oakland School for the Arts) on May 20, selling 2,672 tickets grossing $105,544. She also sold out Oakland Arena for a hometown show last September, grossing $842,492. She also performed two shows at O2 Academy Brixton on Dec. 4 and 5, selling 9,760 tickets grossing $409,688. In January, Kehlani toured throughout Australia and New Zealand, selling out Hordem Pavilion in Moore Park, Australia, grossing $333,297.
Kehlani first gained popularity while still in high school, when her teen pop group, Poplyfe, landed in the final four on “America’s Got Talent” in 2011.
Kehlani is represented by Brent Smith and Eli Gelernter at Wasserman Music. She remains with David Ali at Above Ground for management.
