Tedeschi Trucks Band, Hootie & The Blowfish Headlining Darius Rucker’s Riverfront Revival
Riverfront Revival, a music festival curated by Darius Rucker for his hometown of North Charleston, South Carolina, is back for a third year and boasts another strong lineup with Grammy Award-winning Tedeschi Trucks Band and Hootie & The Blowfish headlining the event taking place Oct. 11-12 at Riverfront Park.
The festival, organized by Rucker and SRE Entertainment, will have Tedeschi Trucks Band, who graced the Pollstar cover in February, headline the first night, which also includes performances from The Revivalists, Paul Cauthen, Southall, Grace Bowers & the Hodge Podge and July Moon.
The second day will feature Jamey Johnson, Collective Soul, Arrested Development, Haily Whitters, Sister Hazel, Shane Profitt, Gritty Flyright, Brady Smith and Elizabeth Covington. Hootie & The Blowfish, which is embarking on their first tour since 2019, will close out the festival, which promises to be a “can’t-miss performance.”
“I can’t think of a better way to close Riverfront Revival out with a bang than next to my Hootie & the Blowfish bandmates,” Rucker said in a statement. “Charleston and the band both mean so much to me and are an integral part of who I am, so I’m thrilled to bring these two parts of my life together for everyone to celebrate and enjoy.”
Daily tickets and weekend passes are now on sale and can be purchased at the festival website, riverfrontrevival.com. Pricing for daily passes is $115 for general admission passes, $225 for general admission plus and $325 for VIP. For a weekend pass, general admission goes for $190, general admission plus is $375 and VIP is $600. Fans who purchase general admission plus will have access to a private bar, seating and restrooms.
