Ginger Owl Appoints Kate Griffiths As Head Of Accreditation
Ginger Owl Productions founders and directors Julie Chennells, and Nancy Skipper announced the appointment of Kate Griffiths as head of accreditation, a newly created senior management role at the full-service event production company.
As head of accreditation, Griffiths will oversee Ginger Owl’s “accreditation best practice including policies, certification, staff training, and client liaison,” according to the press release announcing her appointment.
Griffiths has 25 years’ experience in the events industry gathered from a wide variety of roles, with a focus on data analysis and processing.
She has worked with the Ginger Owl team a lot over the past 10 years, and across multiple events, in both full-time and freelance capacities. She has supported with the management of GDPR, cyber security, and managed relationships with some of Ginger Owl Productions’ high-profile clients, including the London Marathon, and the BBC.
Griffiths is an expert in all things data protection, as well as a mental health first aider, who will further Ginger Owl Productions’ commitment to its employees to become a best-in-class employer.
Griffiths commented, “I’m delighted to embark on this new journey with GO and am looking forward to being alongside the amazing event professionals there. I passionately believe in the role of accreditation as an integral function within events in keeping them safe and secure.
