Mexican Music Singer Ivan Cornejo Unveils 26-Date ‘Mirada Tour’

On the heels of a headlining performance at Sueños music festival in Chicago, Ivan Cornejo is ready to hit the road and play at arenas and amphitheaters across the U.S. for his biggest tour yet. The Mexican American youngster announced the “Mirada Tour,” a 26-date trek to promote his new album bearing the same name, which will be released July 18 via Zaragoza Records/Interscope Records.

Following festival performances at Summerfest in Milwaukee and Canada’s Festival d’été de Québec, Cornejo’s tour kicks off Aug. 15 at Hertz Arena in Estero, Florida. The routing includes stops at Nashville’s Ascend Amphitheater, Virginia Credit Union LIVE! at Richmond Raceway, Boston’s Leaders Bank Pavilion, American Bank Center in Corpus Christi, Tucson Arena in Arizona and Anaheim’s Honda Center before wrapping up at Acrisure Arena in Palm Desert on Oct. 13.

At only 20 years old, Cornejo has become a rising star in the Mexican music movement with heartfelt sierreños and drew a record-breaking crowd of 72,000 at Rodeo Houston stadium in March.

“That was the most shaky I’ve ever been during a show,” Cornejo, who hails from Riverside, California, said in a statement. “It was a great feeling, but I could also hear my heart pounding. People often ask me if I get nervous onstage. And I do. I feel like, oh shit, this is really happening – but in a super exciting way.”

Cornejo, who repped by WME worldwide, is looking to build on what was a banner year in 2023, which included a 46-show tour and performances at Lollapalooza and Austin City Limits. The música Mexicana star grossed $7.8 million and moved 118,690 tickets off 41 shows last year, according to reports submitted to the Pollstar Boxoffice. One of his most successful outings was a sold-out concert at Toyota Arena in Ontario, California, on Nov. 22. The show grossed $1,180,112 off 10,724 tickets.
