Tixr Opens London Office

Ticketing platform Tixr has announced the official opening of its London office and a strategic expansion into continental Europe. 

Industry veteran Stephanie Rosa has been appointed managing director of the London office, leading a local team to build on the company’s business in the region.

“The word is out about Tixr, I couldn’t be more excited to lead our UK operations and European expansion from our new London office. There’s no modern platform more capable of servicing such a wide array of complex events, and the opportunities in the region are immense,” Rosa said in the announcement. “The fantastic regional team we’ve built is honoured to partner with iconic sell-out festivals like Forbidden Forest that value design, innovation, and share in our mission to deliver the best fan experience possible, starting with the ticket.”

Before relocating to London for the new role at Tixr, Rosa served as director of partnerships and sales pperations for the company. She came to Tixr from UK-based Festicket, which was acquired by Lyte in 2022, where she served as vice president of sales, North America. 

The news follows the recent opening of a Tixr Canadian office , and the hiring of longtime ticketing and music business veterans including Steve Oberman and Sara Mertz. 

The company’s presence in the UK and Europe includes partnerships with events and venues including Space Ibiza, Eden Nightclub in Ibiza, British digital radio station Kisstory, F.A.T. International, RuPaul’s Dragcon, Dreamhack, Uptown Festival, Dublin ComicCon, Leicestershire County Cricket Club, Egg London, E1 Series, Brockwell Live, Aramco Team Series, and London’s popular brewery Signature Brew.

Also in the announcement is that Tixr has partnered with Forbidden Forest Festival, a three-day event that took place earlier this month and next year will be serviced by Tixr.
