Lenny’s Ills
Lenny Kravitz has been forced to postpone a total of three shows on his Lenny Live world tour this week due to an “aggravated vocal condition.”
The first sign that things weren’t going as planned came when the singer scrapped his July 27 show at the Verizon Wireless Music Center in Noblesville, Ind.
According to local newspaper The Indianapolis Star, news of Kravitz’s cancellation came just minutes before the show was to begin. A crew member made the announcement to the crowd – an estimated 15,000 – on behalf of the singer.
Pink, who was scheduled to support Kravitz, also nixed her portion of the gig.
Now, according to news on his official Web site, Kravitz has also postponed shows scheduled for Jones Beach, N.Y., (July 29) and Toronto (July 30).
All three dates are expected to be rescheduled, although the new dates have not been announced.
