Working For The Weekend …
Our weekend crew has worked all week so you can kick back and read the following items during the next 72 hours:
God Rest Ye Merry
Now We Are Ten – Umphrey’s McGee celbrates its 10th birthday in a big way.
What’s New Pussycat? – Welsh powerhouse Sir Tom Jones shows no signs of slowing down anytime soon.
Here & There …
There’s money in those old rock & roll t-shirts – Washington Post / Associated Press</a>
Dates, Dates & More Dates …
Southside Johnny & The Asbury Jukes slot a couple of shows in Virginia for the last week of this year; Supersuckers will play West Hollywood’s Viper Room during the last few days of ’08 and Take That will take London’s O2 Arena New Year’s Eve.
Today was a good day for tour dates. Throughout the course of our data adventures we posted the reunion dates for My Bloody Valentine and updated schedules for Van Morrison, Smashing Pumpkins, Three Days Grace, Seth Walker, Ron Sexsmith, Rod Piazza & The Mighty Flyers, Paul Reddick, Mel Tillis, Mark Ronson, Larry Keel And Natural Bridge, Joe Cocker, Jerry Lee Lewis, Jason Ricci & New Blood, Janiva Magness, Indigo Girls, Howie Mandel, Gordon Lightfoot, Chris Rock and Arlo Guthrie, to drop a few names.
And that wraps up our work week. Remember, don’t let your friends drive drunk. As to your enemies, we’ll leave that decision up to you. See ya!
