The trek kicks off September 23 at Tsongas Arena in Boston and wraps October 25 at Gwinnett Arena in Atlanta.

Other stops include Madison Square Garden in New York City (September 24), Susquehanna Center in Philadelphia (September 27), All State Arena in Chicago (October 2), The E Center near Salt Lake City (October 7), Key Arena in Seattle (October 11), Cox Arena in San Diego (October 17), and Nokia Theatre at Grand Prarie near Dallas (October 21).

“Pork and Beans,” the first single from the new album, zipped to the top of the radio charts upon its release and its accompanying video has been viewed more than 10 million times on YouTube.

Recently Weezer, with the help of local radio stations, has been reaching out to musicians to create Hootenannys across the country. The idea was hatched by frontman Rivers Cuomo after his mother explained how music was often spread in “the good ole days.” Fans were hand-picked and told to bring their instruments to an unusual location where audience and band become one and jam on Weezer classics and cover songs.
