Belew, Levin And Mastelotto Return To Camp

Guitarist Adrian Belew, bassist Tony Levin and drummer Pat Mastelotto plan to spend some quality time in the great outdoors with their third “Three Of A Perfect Pair Music Camp” set for August in the Catskill Mountains.

Happening at the Full Moon Resort in Big Indian, N.Y., Aug. 11-15, the camp gives fans a chance to hang with the pros.  The three musicians should have some tales to tell, considering they all played in King Crimson at one time or another and that Belew’s credits include working with Frank Zappa, Levin played with Peter Gabriel and Mastelotto drummed for Mr. Mister.

But telling road stories is only part of the fun.  The camp will also host after hours jam sessions with campers and give fans opportunities to get up close and personal with the artists. Plus, the camp expects to announce more performers between now and August

“A beautiful 100-acre facility on top of the world where at night it looks like you are in a fishbowl full of stars, fantastic friendly people excited about music, an awesome staff and surprisingly good food, nightly drinks and a bonfire and rubbing elbows with a world class band willing to share knowledge and tell plenty of funny road stories … what’s not to love?” said Belew.

Belew, Levin and Mastelotto might have some new tour stories by the time camp rolls around.  They will tour Europe as Crimson ProjeKCt in March.
