Pink Reschedules North American Gigs

Pink’s voice is still out of commission after she nixed Salt Lake City and Denver from her itinerary last week to get “vocal rest.” Although those shows were quickly rescheduled for late October, they’ve been pushed back once more, along with a handful of additional gigs.

Following four days of vocal rest, the pop star initially thought her voice was ready to go again and resumed “The Truth About Love Tour” by playing Seattle Oct. 20 and Vancouver Oct. 21.

Now she’s released a statement saying she needs more time off.

“It became clear after further consultation with her doctors that more rest is required for her to fully recover from inflamed vocal cords and laryngitis. It is under these doctors’ orders that the following shows will be postponed.”

The postponed gigs were scheduled Oct. 23 through Nov. 3.

Here are the new dates:

Jan. 7 – Minneapolis, Minn., Target Center
Jan. 9 – Milwaukee, Wis., BMO Harris Bradley Center
Jan. 11 – Fargo, N.D., Fargodome
Jan. 14 – Winnipeg, Manitoba, MTS Centre
Jan. 15 – Saskatoon, Saskatchewan, Credit Union Centre
Jan. 16 – Edmonton, Alberta, Rexall Place
Jan. 19 – Denver, Colo., Pepsi Center
Jan. 20 – Salt Lake City, Utah, EnergySolutions Arena

Tickets for the postponed shows will be honored on the rescheduled dates.

Pink is due back on stage Nov. 5 at Chicago’s United Center.
