Dainty Group has John Mellencamp with Jewel and Carlene Carter, landing at three arenas, two outdoor sites and two wineries Feb. 6-20. Australia gave Mellencamp his first taste of success with debut single “I Need A Lover” before the rest of the world – something he acknowledged on his last tour here in 2008 – and went on to have seven Top 20 hits and 10 Top 20 albums, shifting 1.5 million albums downunder.

Live Nation has Kendrick Lamar at two arena dates (March 21, March 23) before his March 24 headline slot at Bluesfest.

Live Nation has An Evening With Jackson Browne landing at three theatres after his March 27 slot at Bluesfest. It is Browne’s first visit since 2009.

Diana Krall’s Wallflower World Tour extends to seven shows, Jan. 27 to Feb. 13, through Live Nation. At three shows – two at the Sydney Opera House, she is joined by the Sydney Symphony Orchestra.

Chugg Entertainment booked City And Colour in six theatre and outdoor dates March 26 to April 8 after the band’s Bluesfest slot.

Hoodoo GurusSunnyboys and Violent Femmes join together for a “Pure Pop for Now People” run on the A Day On The Green winery series. The five nationwide shows, March 5-19, include post-punk Aussie acts Died Pretty and Ratcat.

Fatboy Slim slips in a Perth theatre headliner Jan. 22 a day before he jets across the country to Sydney for the new Electric Gardens festival.

U.S. Polynesian roots act Common Kings, which made its Aussie debut opening for Justin Timberlake in 2014, returns for seven club stops March 11-20 through Metropolis Touring and Tombowler.

Mac Miller does theatre dates along the East Coast Jan. 2-5 after ringing in the New Year at West Australia’s Origin NYE.

Live Nation is booking two theatre shows Nov. 7-8 as part of YouTube success stories Joe Suggs and Caspar Lee’s promotional visit for BBC Worldwide Australia and New Zealand behind their “Joe & Caspar Hit The Road” film. Between them, the pair has 10 million YouTube subscribers and more than 1 billion total video views.

Live Nation by arrangement with WME has Australian social media personality Joel Adams at three all-ages shows Nov. 14-28 behind his debut single “Please Don’t Go.” The 18-year-old has 1.3 million followers, leading to U.S. record and management deals.

Blind Melon, whose debut visit was to start Oct. 21, canceled with no reason given. But Blue Palm Touring suggest the tour will be rescheduled.
