Show Me Center’s David Ross Dies

David Ross, retired longtime director of the Show Me Center in Cape Girardeau, Mo., died from complications of a ruptured esophagus April 14.

Ross, 63, landed some big acts for the venue including President Ronald Reagan, Tina Turner, Aerosmith, Guns ‘N Roses, Alabama, Def Leppard, Willie Nelson, Reba McEntire, George Strait, Show Me Center and others, according to the South Missourian.

Ross also served as president of the International Association of Assembly Managers in 2005.
