Dates, Dates & More Dates …

Kenny Chesney fattens his summer tour plans. Today he adds June dates for San Francisco, Pittsburgh and Chicago, Nashville, Atlanta and Philadelphia for July, a Detroit stop for August and an Indianapolis appearance for September.

Billy Joel keeps adding gigs one or two dates at a time. Today we posted Billy appearing in Anaheim on February 23 and Des Moines on April 15.

G. Love & Special Sauce have several new February / March dates, including Tempe, AZ, Houston, TX, Tuscaloosa, AL, and Athens, GA, before heading across the equator to Australia for some mid-March shows and Tim Reynolds plows through midwest and eastern states during February and March. Cities include Cleveland, Athens, OH, Notre Dame, IN, Pontiac, MI and New York, NY.

During the day we updated the schedules for “GIGANTOUR,” Eagles, Ani DiFranco, Tokyo Police Club, Alpha Blondy, Fishbone, Garnet Rogers, Jonas Brothers, Melissa Ferrick, Katie Melua, Spooky Tooth, Sarah Silverman, Patty Larkin, Dark Star Orchestra, Gin Blossoms, Hubert Sumlin, The Dreaming, Les Claypool, Hal Ketchum, Rhino Bucket, Lyle Lovett, Gram Rabbit, John Hiatt, Tab Benoit, Rascal Flatts, The Why Store, Trace Adkins, plus more bands and artists than we can possibly count, even if we used your fingers and toes along with our own.

And that’s how our Monday went. Lots of dates, plenty of artists, a few laughs, a few tears. All in all, a pretty decent Monday by tour date research standards.
