Earlier in the month, CAA held its annual 27th annual CAA Nashville BBQ at Martin’s Bar-B-Que Joint, breaking a record for attendance and money raised for local charities.
More than 540 people attended the June 3 barbecue, including CAA agents and executives, clients and friends of the agency including Lady Antebellum, Kid Rock, Little Big Town, Darren Criss, Chase Rice, Russell Dickerson, Lauren Alaina, Cassadee Pope, Derrick Henry, Rex Ryan, Colton Underwood, CAA Nashville co-founders Rod Essig and John Huie, and CAA Nashville Co-Heads Brian Manning, Marc Dennis and Darin Murphy.
The event raised more than $54,000 for Communities in Schools of Tennessee at Nashville and PENCIL, organizations which help to prevent school dropout prevention and connect community resources to Metro Nashville Public Schools, respectively.
