AEG Presents Names Brent Fedrizzi President, North American Regional Offices

Brent Fedrizzi was promoted to President, North American Regional Offices, AEG Presents announced May 10. He most recently served as Co-President and COO of AEG Presents’ Rocky Mountains and Pacific Northwest regions. 

The news was made official just a few days after Rick Mueller announced via a memo that he had stepped down as President at AEG Presents, effective immediately, after 13 years working for the major promoter.

Fedrizzi’s new role will see him guiding “the company’s 100 U.S. venues — including the 50 owned and operated clubs and theatres in the AEG Presents portfolio — in all aspects of talent buying and promotion, as well as overseeing its 12 regional offices.” The May 10 announcement noted that Fedrizzi, who will continue to be based in Denver, will report to AEG Presents Chairman and CEO Jay Marciano and join the company’s Executive Committee.

Fedrizzi got his start in the business in 1991 by working at the Fey Concert Company in Denver and booking artists at venues across the Rockies and the Southwest. He teamed up with Chuck Morris and Don Strasburg in 1998 to launch Bill Graham Presents/Chuck Morris Presents, which eventually became part of Live Nation in 2005 after a series of acquisitions. After nine years, the trio joined AEG Live, with Fedrizzi named COO of the Rocky Mountain region. 

Fedrizzi is a board member and four-time president of the North American Concert Promoters Association, as well as serving as Chairman of the Board for “Visit Denver” and on the board of the Colorado Music Hall of Fame. His accolades include a four-time Academy of Country Music award nominee, and a nominee for International Entertainment Buyers Association’s Promoter of the Year. He was also nominated for a Pollstar Award for Talent Buyer of the Year.
