HAIM’s Euro Exclusive Show At APE
All Points East (APE) announced its next headliner: HAIM will take over the main stage in London’s Victoria Park on Aug. 28, leading a bill that also features Girl In Red, Confidence Man, Lizzy Mcalpine, Tove Lo, Joesef, Snail Mail, Tamino, and more.
It’s the first APE performance for HAIM, and their only European festival performance in 2023. The BRIT Award winning sister trio will have their latest album, Women in Music Pt. III, in tow, chiming with the female-heavy lineup that day.
APE takes place across two weekends, connected by a week of free entertainment for the public and Victoria Park community, dubbed In The Neighbourhood. HAIM are the third headliners announced by promoter AEG Presents, following The Strokes, and Stormzy, who’ll curate an entire day, Aug. 18.
APE will also join forces with another London festival, Field Day, again, which will curate Saturday, Aug. 19, headlined by Aphex Twin and Bonobo.
Aside from its commitment to sustainability, APE continues to work with local charity the Tower Project to give volunteer opportunities to young people with learning disabilities and autism on site at the festival, as well as providing education and performance opportunities to the students of nearby ELAM arts and music school.

La Prima Estate Expands To Two Weekends
La Prima Estate expands to two weekends for its second edition, June 16-25, at Bussola Domani Park in Lido Di Camaiore, Versilia, Tuscany.
Weekend one, June 16-18, will be headlined by Nas, Bon Iver, and Bicep. Alt-J are set to headline the second weekend, June 23-25, alongside Jamiroquai, and Metro Boomin.
Also confirmed: Japanese Breakfast, Chet Faker, Domi & JD Beck, Kings Of Convenience, Guinevere, Just Mustard, Geolier, Bruno Belissimo, and Studio Murena.
La Prima Estate is the brainchild of the creators of Lucca Summer Festival, D’Alessandro e Galli, who are looking at a long history of bringing some of the world’s biggest stars to Tuscany.
Mimmo D’Alessandro, CEO of D’Alessandro e Galli commented, “Coming back for our second edition of La Prima Estate, we really wanted to build on the foundations of the debut year that saw us become the most discussed Italian festival on national TV and radio. When you look at the calibre of artists performing, on top of our expansion to two weekends, this year feels like a statement for a very exciting festival.”

Cap Roig Festival Unveils Lineup
Cap Roig Festival unveiled its lineup in a March 10 press conference at the Barcelona headquarters of CaixaBank, the festival’s main sponsor.
The 23rd edition runs July 14 to Aug. 19, with international and national superstars taking the stage on various nights. This year’s lineup includes Rod Stewart, who’ll open Cap Roig Festival July 14, Norah Jones, Simply Red, Luz Casal, Sebastián Yatra, Vanesa Martín, Juan Diego Flórez, Manuel Carrasco, Pablo López, Lola Índigo, Damien Rice, Mika, Pablo Alborán, Ara Malikian, Els Amics de les Arts , Stay Homas, Taburete, Joan Dausà, Sílvia Pérez Cruz, Els Catarres, and David Bisbal, who’ll close things out Aug. 19.

New Order Joins Primavera Sound Lineup in Barca & Madrid
Primavera Sound welcomes New Order to its festivals in Barcelona and Madrid. The Mancunian band will perform at Barcelona’s Parc del Fòrum on June 1, and at the Ciudad del Rock in Arganda del Rey, outside Madrid, on June 8.
Primavera Sound Barcelone and Madrid also feature Depeche Mode, Pet Shop Boys, Kendrick Lamar, Rosalía, Calvin Harris, Blur, Halsey, and more on their respective lineups.

OASG Returns
OpenAir St.Gallen returns to its familiar location in the Sitter valley, St. Gallen, Switzerland, June 29-July 2.
This year’s edition welcomes Macklemore, Lewis Capaldi, Kraftklub, Peter Fox, The Lumineers, Tash Sultana, and more on stage.
Other confirmed acts for OpenAir St.Gallen 2023 include Sam Fender, Electric Callboy, Marcus Mumford, Meduza, Feine Sahne Fischfilet, Mimi Webb, and Yard Act, among others.

Serbia
Exit Adds To Dance Arena Lineup
Exit Festival, which takes place July 6-9, on the grounds of Petrovaradin Fortress in Novi Sad, Serbia, has added a slew of names to the lineup of its legendary Dance Arena.
The first day is dedicated to an all-female cast, led by Nina Kraviz and featuring Amelie Lens, Indira Paganotto, Tijana T, and Miju. The remaining days will see Eric Prydz, Keinemusik, Michael Bibi, Hot Since 82, Ben Böhmer live, CamelPhat, Mind Against, Agents Of Time live, Vintage Culture, Layla Benitez, Gioli, Assia live, and more take the stage.
Exit features many other stages, including the genre-agnostic main stage. Other confirmed acts for Exit 2023 include The Prodigy, Wu-Tang Clan, Skrillex, Alesso, Viagra Boys, Chase & Status, Claptone, SOFI TUKKER, Dimitri Vegas & Like Mike, LF System, and many more.
Denmark
The Chemical Brothers Join Northside
Danish festival NorthSide, taking place in Aarhus, June 1-3, confirmed that The Chemical Brothers will be joining the bill, closing the main stage on Friday, June 2.
Also newly confirmed: Iceland’s billions-of-streams phenomenon Kaleo bring their atmospheric blues- soul- and Americana-infused rock to Denmark. Last but not least, Australian house act Dom Dolla, and Canadian DJ and producer Blond:ish have both been added to the lineup for Northside’s electronic stage Electra.
Previously confirmed acts include Muse, and NxWorries (Anderson .Paak and Knxwledge), The 1975, First Aid Kit, Pusha T, Sam Fender, LP, Yemi Alade, Nothing But Thieves, Kevin Morby, and more. GRAMMY-nominated Danish pop band Lukas Graham is this year’s domestic headliner.

Rock Werchter Adds 34
Belgium’s main event Rock Werchter unveiled another 34 acts, who join Muse, Arctic Monkeys, Stromae, Red Hot Chili Peppers, Stormzy, Liam Gallagher, Oscar and The Wolf, Queens of the Stone Age, Fred again.., Rosalía, Iggy Pop, Editors, The 1975, and more.
The latest additions include Inhaler, Dermot Kennedy, King Princess, Weyes Blood, Kasabian, Holly Humberstone, The Snuts, The Reytons, and others.
Festival promoter Herman Schueremans commented, “The puzzle is complete. This is an exciting moment every year. Our team has put together a strong line-up in keeping with Rock Werchter tradition. We have the big headliners but there’s also room for new discoveries, the stars of tomorrow. Rock forms the solid base for an eclectic programme that doesn’t let itself be put in boxes. Hip-hop fits in alongside folk metal, alternative pop next to pulverising rock. That’s what makes Rock Werchter so exciting.”
