Catskills’ The Taste Of Country Music Festival sets final lineup … Okeechobee announces PoWoW! artists … Lorde, Flume, G-Eazy among the headliners for Houston’s FPSF … New Fortress Fest announces lineup, and Wichita’s Vortex readies for its first year. 

The Taste Of Country Music Festival made its final lineup announcement this week, adding Joe Nichols, Maddie & Tae, Cody Johnson and RaeLynn to the grand plan for

The additions also include Steve Moakler, Smithfield, Courtney Cole, Brooke Eden and Jackson Michelson.

But we’re just skimming the surface of TOC’s talent-filled plans. Previously announced artists include Jason Aldean, Miranda Lambert and Sam Hunt headlining a roster that includes Chris Young, Kip Moore, Tyler Farr and Maren Morris.

The PoWoW! is a spectacular within a spectacular and takes place the evening of March 4 during the fest’s March 2-5 run at Sunshine Grove in Okeechobee, Fla.

Once again Okeechobee has plenty for everybody. Kings Of Leon, Usher & The Roots, Bassnectar, The Lumineers, Flume, Wiz Khalifa, Pretty Lights (live band), Sturgill Simpson and Solange are just a few of the artists snagged for lineup duty.

Speaking of the Lone Star State, Fort Worth’s inaugural Fortress Festival has unveiled its daily lineups. taking over the city’s Cultural District April 29-30, Fortress has booked headliners Run The Jewels and Purity Ring along with Flying Lotus, Slowdive, Houndmouth, Nathaniel Rateliff & The Night Sweats, Wolf Parade and many others.

The festival features two stages with one located on the grounds of the Will Rogers Memorial Center while the other one rocks out on the reflecting pond at the Modern Art Museum of Fort Worth.

Looks as if Wichita, Kan., will host a new festival, according to that city’s media outlets.

The first-ever live music / camping Vortex Music Festival is slated for Aug. 4-5 in downtown Wichita. That’s right, camping and music in the heart of the city.
